I can't imagine how a refugee could be being granted an allowance larger than a pensioner but I'd consider it possible. Perhaps because a pensioner can have assets up to a certain threshold before they have their entitlements reduced, while a refugee probably has no assets. Although I do know of many 'refugees' who have fled to Austraila via SIEVs who happen to be doctors and lawyers and the like, and quite well off. And before you ask me where I got that information from, it's first hand.

However there was no link between a investigation of criminal negligence in the death of elderly by food poisoning at retirement villages and youre reasoning that refugees should not be given medical attention

May i persuade you that there is no political conspiracy with either the coallition or opposition with disinformation with the discent big dog has distibuted to be an election ploy.

If my memory serves correctly the distributation by big dog of unauthorized and vexacious material is a regurgitation from 7 years ago and that person was convicted and sentenced and if as you there is a link between between finances and criminally negligent deaths of those elderly in custody and i may be incorrect about that then please consider it costs aprox, $5000 a week to keep a prisoner.

Obviously your are impassioned by your late mothers experience in Dachau. But Big Dog's only crime is not verifying the veracity of the information; we're all guilty of that from time to time.

In no way can the email posted be considered racist or even that genuine refugees are not welcome. You are leaping to delusions if you consider this to be so.

Your final paragraph is an attempt to construct a monstrous straw man, as nowhere were those sentiments expressed (apart from your post of course). There would scarcely be an Australian who would not welcome genuine refugees and supply them with assistance until they are able to fend for themselves.

The crux of the email is in the perceived uneven benefits with regard to two groups, age pensioners and refugees.

I cannot comment as I don't know the facts, but if true, or even partially true, it seems grossly unfair to those who have contributed to Australian society for their entire life. As such, those concerns are valid.

There are absolutely no grounds for withdrawing Big Dog's account in this thread, and suggest that you yourself are far closer to the line than he.

Perhaps you should focus your passion on legislation in this country, some of which is creeping ideologically closer to the failed regime in which you have great reason to hate?
