I think this story is worthy of its own thread.
After hearing about one story where someone has lost $1M worth of shares, I turned to my missus and said that if that were me I would be hiring someone to track these guys down in order to make them pay. And I don't mean asic or lawyers if you get my drift.
Well it seems there are others that did lose money in Opes Prime who think exactly like that.
Look out guys
By the way if you want to contact arbitrations and mediations for assistance their number is 96503333, being from Melbourne I would say the prefix is 03.
Cheers

Melbourne underworld identity Mick Gatto is today travelling overseas to track down cash from a failed investment company on behalf of his private clients - and he promises he has his own methods to make the company pay.
Gatto - one of few figures still alive after Melbourne's bloody gangland war - runs a private company called Arbitrations and Mediations, which he today said "makes problems disappear".
The man who has survived assasination attempts and been chronicled by Channel Nine series Underbelly is trying to recover money for people dudded by the collapse of failed stockbroker Opes Prime.
Hundreds of angry Opes Prime customers are owed more than $500 million after the collapse.
Gatto, who was found by a court to have murdered Carl Williams' right hand man Andrew `Benji' Veniamin in self defence during the bloody gang wars, this morning flew out to Singapore for a series of meetings and negotiations.
He yesterday refused to reveal who he would be meeting or detail the nature of the discussions.
"These Opes Prime clients can take their chances and lose all their money to lawyers and to receivers, or they can take their chances with me," he told The Age.
"The proof is in the pudding with me. I solve problems. . . it's my way or the highway."
