Yesterday I had an order in for BHP buy at $40. Price went above that, I forgot about it, thinking it would never return.

Just noticed a little email came in a couple of hours ago from commsec ... trade executed.

Learnt my lesson ... never forgot about orders!

Yup , I had a sell on ZFX at a limit price , ticked the day only box , got two thirds of the position sold but got caught holding the rest . So now I may buy back in , which was the original plan , but it was to be from scratch .

I also only got 228 of the SGB ordered , a blessing maybe , but I'd like to see them take the Centro malls and sell them off at a profit against their books , not Centros .................

probably one of your best buys starting the new year mate:)

I had that before too. BXB dropped to $11.41 on that day, and I was thinking it was a good move to not buy in after all. Then this email came from comsec - trade excuted at $11.7. Whoops...

Still, it's not as bad as my current trade (if you can still call it a trade.) Bought into a spec stock last month, set my targets/stop losses (or at least I thought I did), and went back to work. Work was getting busy, and I eventually forgot that I was holding that position. A short while later, the computer hdd died, and I lost my user number and password for my broker account. So, until I dig them up from some very old pieces of paper, I'm sitting on a 27% loss with no real means of selling the holdings. :banghead:

Well, that's it. No more trading for me. Not until I get a little bit more organised anyway.
