Yep, nothing worse than on a Sunday morning getting three calls from "Diana" and finally saying "Listen bloss, you've got the wrong number and I DIDN'T sleep with you last night!

She is fully back on deck again,

We ended up getting a guy to come over who backed up her photos then formatted the computer and hard drive and reinstalled windows and her virus software from our disk.

We have changed here email adderess and skype account etc just to be extra safe.

I am confident she has learned her lesson and now can share her story around the reitrement village to save others.

Unfortunately you will be required to format hard drive and reintall all the software.

I hope she has a backup of any data as backing up off the infected computer may just transfer the offending software to the new one.

I think this is your best bet. Some Trojans are especially tough to remove and it's the only way you can be sure to get rid of it 100%. Get an external hard drive to transfer her files so she doesn't lose anything important and then just wipe it clean and start afresh.
