We all know approx 70% of the earth is covered in water, but at some stage the sea beds were land structures and vice versa. With land based high grade mineral discoveries becoming less frequent, is it time to turn to the oceans for future mineral supplies (leaving oil and gas out of the discussion of course, there are proven reserves underwater)?
