Good morning everyone and welcome to the November 2018 stock tipping competition entry thread! :)

The November competition is proudly sponsored by FP Markets, an Australian owned and ASIC regulated broker with over 12 years experience and 35 industry awards including Highest Overall Client Satisfaction 5 years running. They facilitate trading in equities, indices, commodities, futures, Forex and Bitcoin via their MetaTrader4 platform.

FP Markets offer 10,000+ equities, indices and commodities across all major international markets. All equity CFDs are DMA priced and 100% hedged. FP Markets are not a market maker so their interests are aligned with that of their clients. You can go long on everything listed on the ASX and international markets and they have the widest short offering of any Australian broker.

A quick recap of the rules for those not familiar with them:

1. Each entrant may choose one ASX listed stock. Options, warrants and deferred settlement shares are not permitted.

2. Stocks with a price of less than $0.01 are ineligible for the competition, as are stocks that are currently suspended from trading.

3. Either before or after posting your entry and before the deadline for entries you must post in the forum thread on that stock providing either a general update or a view on why you think the share price is going to increase in the short term.

4. The winner is the entrant whose selected stock performs the best in percentage terms between November 1 and November 30.

5. The maximum number of entrants in the competition is 100.

The competition winner will receive $100. The second placegetter will win $50 and the third placegetter $25.

You have until midnight on Wednesday, October 31 to enter. However, in practice, entries can be submitted until this thread is closed. No entries submitted after that can be accepted for any reason.

Please post your entries in this thread. Remember, once you have selected your stock, you CANNOT change it for any reason.

Best of luck to all entrants! :D

ASSETOWL LIMITED pls Joe.

Just a stab in the Darc. Looks down atm.

If entrants reaches the max of 100 you can withdraw my entry so someone else can participate.

RAC for me, thanks Joe. A bit early to expect it to pop over the next month though. Better candidate for the CY2019 comp :)

Jupiter Mines JMS - thanks Joe
A one trick pony in Manganese but does many tricks, all manganese. Paid its first interim dividend of 5c a share or 15.8% at 31.5c a share. JMS are on a prospective dividend yield of 31.6% - providing the price of manganese averages over US$5.50 dmtu. The world's highest dividend yield in the mining sector. Their mine has a 100 year mine life.

Also has mothballed mining assets at Mount Ida and Mount Mason in WA.

I'll have a go with TNG thanks Joe.

TNG should be a lot better off then it currently is - more in stock thread.

Most probably a stupid idea, I own stock in TNG and now have just given it the kiss of death by picking it in the comp!

Go for TLG Joe.

It continues to report outstanding results on on Graphene anode development for Litium Ion batteries. At some stage (hopefully soon) teh penny will drop.

Hi Joe

Can I pick Fluence FLC?
I have already posted a chart that makes little sense to me but maybe someone can understand it. Someone can teach me something about FLC: just anything???

I'm going to take a punt on Lindian Resources (LIN) in November. I'll post in the LIN thread tomorrow sometime.

CWY - going well and if the market drops again could leave me near the top.
I tend to not pick the 2c companies so don't win this too often.

MOY thanks Joe,

Starting to shine now but will have more to say in its thread. With markets looking wobbly gold could go well in the next month or so IMV
