NinjaTrader - Free EOD Data Question

Hi All,

I have downloaded NinjaTrader after seeing it recommended here many times (and because it is free!)
One question I have is with the Free EOD Data (Using Yahoo at the moment). I have noticed that the EOD data only becomes available in the program at 12:00PM the following day. For example it is 10PM here on Monday night, but I am only getting data shown from last Friday (I assume at 12PM tonight this will update to include today's info)

This seems a bit pointless as the idea of EOD trading would be to look at charts after work...is there anyway of getting free EOD data for NinjaTrader that updates at market close or even at 7 or 8 in the evening?

What market are you talking about and what data connection are you using?

Asx equities (I imported an asx200 list) and I am using the yahoo data feed. Sorry if I have misunderstood your question in regards to the data connection.

See the example above for BHP. Yahoo's data is all messed up so it wouldn't suprise me if its not pulling through correctly.

As an aside, you actually need to adjust the time setting for the data also.

So if everything is configured correctly, what time is EOD data supposed to be available using Yahoo as the data feed in NinjaTrader?

truth be told I'm not sure what the lag is between the market closing at 4.10pm and when that daily bar would become available on yahoo
