I was reading Business Spectator when an ad for this ETF provider popped up.

BetaShares products are Australian-domiciled ETFs.

We haven't had as much choice with ETF's compared to the North Americans so seems like a welcome relief. I like the USD ETF, easy to get in and out, same as the others.

They have 3 new ETF's.

S&P/ASX 200 Financials Sector ETF

S&P/ASX 200 Resources Sector ETF

U.S. Dollar ETF

Anyone have an opinion on these or Betashares?

I personally really like ETFs and use them a great deal for investing. It's very hard to pick a stock that will outperform and like to follow thematics rather than individual stocks.

The products above will be a good way to express a view on the individual sectors. Right now, the banks are paying a good yield so the Financials Sector ETF looks interesting to me.

A lot of people are also looking at a potential drop off in the AUD vs. the USD so the US dollar product is interesting as well.

What do others think?
