Interesting all of this kerfuffle with ANZ/CMC Stockbroking.

ANZ is my pick for the first bank to go to the naughty wall for a generation.

You don't agist your cattle in a piggery.

Checking the trade history my order is "processing".
No emails (accepted, opened, traded, confirmed) at all.

This is exactly the reason why I left CMC

Now we have been "using" the new ANZ platform for a while.
Has anyone worked out if we can "edit" what information is displayed when viewing the portfolio.
I had my old account configured to show info thats important to me not a set of defaults.

If you mean the PnL page, then yes you can edit. This feature is handy because CMC sometimes updates and sometimes doesn't (always been the case), so they allow you to change your entry price and the number of shares. It's hilarious. You can hold 500 @ $10 shares and edit it to show a holding of 100000 at $5. ANZ obviously didn't use the platform at all before they signed up. Every aspect of it is faulty. Some of these faults have been pointed out by me years ago. They simply ignore it, so I learned to work around it.

I currently hold one stock. Early in the day it showed $200 profit. Now it shows $-80, yet the price hasn't moved. This feature of CMC has been mentioned to the IT dept several times. "It's a known issue" is their reply. Basically, if you use CMC you have to check everything extremely carefully because errors abound.

Yes I found that amusing as well.
But what I mean is the column info, eg I dont want to see the % change but I want to see the PE ratio

Column info is not editable. I wouldn't use CMC for any fundamental info. though. Tradingview should give you that.

Redbeard, if you go to 'depth' then to 'research' this brings up P/E's, yields, all sorts of things. Hope this helps. It's a very unfriendly upgrade have to admit

And full of bugs.... oops features. Just completed a trade with a price that was in "freefall", ie some seller came in and offloaded for a price (0.80) that was less than my order price of 0.90 and way less than market of 0.935
The trade went through, but the "notification email" said I had bought at a price of 0.90 even though the order history tab and contract note says 0.80.

(still not happy with the lack of configurable pages)

Can you say the stock code? I'd like to check the course of trades if that's ok. Also, could you tell us how many days/weeks it takes the support desk to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Just venting my frustration. . . . useless Login programming on ANZ/CMC share investing login page.

I've several accounts and need to clear cache every time I want to login to another account. Come on IT department, in two years you've never been able to fix this issue since ANZ forced all clients to CMC platform. Hire someone who can fix it, please.

You could use a new incognito tab each time instead of clearing cache much faster

Problems with ANZ-CMC again. Data not updating quickly, orders not being acknowledged as accepted or placed in the post auction.
I may have entered duplicate orders or nil. I haven't a clue. We're paying top dollar for this crap service?

I had problems with it all day again today.
Data was constantly not updating and had a trade cancelled with no explanation

IB (which is normally very reliable) was down for about an hour just now

a bit stressful for us options traders as today is expiry day for the June monthly contracts

i don't remember systems going down with such frequency about a decade ago, technology is supposed to be improving with the passage of time, not getting worse!
