Is it just me or do other members also think that these shields just encourage members to post small/crap/worthless/ramping posts?

Sure there are some good posters who post a lot, but i have found the better posters tend to post a little less, but say quality things when they do post.

IMO its all about HC trying to drive up traffic to increase revenue.

I have been asked to remove the letters "ASF" from my signature. Thats the official reason anyway...

I think they were trying to stop my voice being heard. Power to the ppl etc etc.

Here at ASF you are allowed a link in your signature providing you do not refer people to it. IE - they can click on it if they notice it and/or like your posts

There are rules and there are personal preferences.The two are eons apart yet of the same source.
