Just rang the NAB with a credit card query and was told the wait would be 15 minutes.

How can you run a business with no customer service ?

When you're a monopoly c/o successive lame Govt's.

happened to me the other day

i called up to cancel my very well worn gold credit card which i have owned for 6 years.
i couldn't remember my 'telephone banking password', i was placed in a queue for 20 mins then told by a little b***h of a customer service rep that the couldnt/wouldnt help me and that i would have to get in the car and drive down to my local branch.

not happy

Just irrirating ignorant pigs like Telstra used to be, or still are I'm not sure, haven't had the pleasure of contacting them lately.
 
Try going to the ANZ these days, you have to get a stupid little ticket (like a fast food shop) and wait until your numberis called, for some reason it seems to take twice as long.

I actually had a good dealing with Telstra over the phone yeaterday believe it or not
The cust service rep was friendly and helpful and I ended up with a $40 credit

And even more ironic is I'm currently short TLS
