Hi all,

I would like to know your thoughts on my portfolio holdings at the moment. I value your opinions, and after veiwing your posts for quite a while, I feel it would be helpful to me to have your constructive thoughts. So for the medium term investment, I bare my soul:

BDG
PBL
SEK
OSH

Now don't be shy, I have thick skin, but there is money on the line, and I appreciate your opinions,

Do you know what sleeper88, the darn things are too dear! I messed around with ZFX during the year, but got hurt with that mine suring up thing. It's funny but my biggest win as a trader was ZFX, and my biggest loss was ZFX... Love Kangara, Zinifex, Oxiana, but just can't bring myself to buy them now after the May correction. I need a pullback, but I don't know if Zinc will pullback? LME stocks are all but, prices through the roof... Can't buy now surely, just asking for troubles, what do you recon? :eek:
 
This week, Wednesday, there may be a little pull-back if the RBA raises interest rates. Might be your last chance to get into zinc!

well, i believe zinc fundamentals will continue to remain strong, at least for another 12 months or so. i must admit most zinc producers (ZFX, KZL, PEM, CBH, OXR) and future producers (JML, AIM, TZN, ??TRO??) are becoming pricey, but i still feel there is good upside potential.

Having a look at those forecasted EPS figures, if current conditions remain, current SP of zinc stocks will look like a joke in a yrs time. But having said that im no financial analysis so do your own research and buy when there's a retrace or consolidation,
btw i currently hold CBH, PDZ, MLS (missed out on TRO :banghead: )

Thanks watsonc, yes I do think the rates will rise, and Melbourne Cup Day to boot! Just think the market has priced in the rise, and a pullback will be minimal IMO with due respect. Funny thing is, the Financial Review published an artical about Zinc, and it's Demand, and limited Supply back in around Nov/Dec last year, which got me onto ZFX and the like. But being a newbie, I day traded rather than invested, and to this day I have regreted that! More intent on Short term gain than long/medium term financial rewards. What a lesson!

Good on you sleeper, those EPS estimates are incredible.... I will take your advise, and get back in with a retracement... :banghead: What was I thinking? It's so obvious, and frustrating let me say, but May did catch me good, I felt like an idiot, all the warnings were there, but I had no respect. Wiser, and poorer for the experience... I wish you well with your holding, cheers. :)

Thanks youngneil, haven't got much info on them, have to visit their website. Do they do Zinc?

Tell us some more mate, either here or on INL thread. What's your reasons? i don't mind the look of the chart also but fundamentally, you seem to know more..??
