I often think about this (especially on quiet days on the market  ) and it changes periodically. Just one disc for all those hypothetical Robinson Crusoe years, not easy to choose.

I like the contemporary artists, John Butler + various sidemen, Bloc Party, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam and more, however I keep coming back to Caravanserai , a Santana release, so I think that would be the one.

Or perhaps a Chopin compilation would be more sensible, and certainly very welcome.

Don't forget your solar powered CD player.

Did you say Chopin or Harry Chapin?
