I've been in the UK for a little while, and i've been buying up on some UK shares. Anyone know what happens when i return home? do i have to give up the UK shares? can i continue trading with my UK online broker?

Any advice would be great

Thanks

Don't know, but wouldn't have thought you have to get rid of them.

I've got some Coca Cola Hellenic shares listed in London. Came about when CCA split off its European business many years ago and because I was non resident in Australia I ended up with them. They are a bit of a nuisance actually with the dividends in pounds. Who do you use as an online broker in the UK? I wouldn't mind finding a cost effective way of selling them.

Etrade in the UK.. 8.95 Pounds per trade

So anyone else in my situation?

Thanks
