This is a dreadful affair.

Poor children.

Poor mother.

The following summary of her sentencing contains all the elements that led to those fateful moments. Childhood family and community dysfunction, drugs, lack of support, and an event that spiralled out of control.

Mr GG as sad as this event is I have no sympathy for this murderous woman. I am glad she has been given this lengthy sentence. Justice finally prevails.

Shocking. With the limited info contained here surely she's psychologically damaged - insane. Not sure how she gets rehabilitated. Imagine how many others there are in similar situations in those communities? Is this what $30b a year gets?

I guess her defense team would have pleaded insanity if they thought it would work.

I can't see how any mother could be sane to kill her children and especially the baby. Four months old.. Disturbing.

Either insane or high on what ever these people poke into themselves.
Can;t see rehab being on option when you see those evil eyes.

I believe she tried to seek help but was turned away.

No excuse of course but it usually seems to be the women stuck with the responsibility.

The fathers just walk away and cry poor if asked to contribute.

Not all the time of course but by far the majority I would say.

The family group seems to be pretty lose in these communities, because they're all related. Stories of life in Alice, which has been quite prominent recently, are really troubling. Kids not wanting to go home at night because an uncle was going to come over pissed and sexually abuse them, etc. This woman seems to be a result of that community situation.

I'm sure The Voice will fix this...

Or, maybe Lidia laying in front of floats, going to strip clubs and dating bikies will.

Good arvo Sir R. The reports were that she did seek refuge but was turned away because of no room. There must have been other avenues available to seek help/assistance hospital, police.
