Hi Guys,
Usually i do two Metastock searches a day and then an eyeball of 1-2 folders of my data. IE the A and B folders.

My Metastock searchs are not returning the type of results i would like so i was wondering: What are you guys search criteria and are they providing you with profitable options?

My Metastock searchs are 5 consecutive highs, and where yesterdays close and volume are above a 50 day moving average.

Try a search for 5 consecutive lows, you should be getting plenty of results.

lol yeah you're probably right. I know the last couple of days have been pretty harsh but i'm still curious how others are finding thier stocks.

Or is this secret information?

Maybe you've been away on mars.
The Ords is down 40% off its highs.
The World Financial systems is collapsing.
Theyve banned short selling.

Every piece of software in the modern world isnt finding bullish sentiment.
What on earth makes you think anyone else is doing better longer term bullish than yourself?

If you focus on todays conditions you miss the future opportunities. My question is designed to understand how the rebound may develop and the best ways to identify breakouts in these conditions. The objective is to pick up opportuniites like DOM with a 21% rise Monday to Wednesday.

Also some CFD providers will let you trade short on the Index and the ban on short selling, misguided as it is, does not cover all stocks. Trading the short side with CFD Index's is yesterdays success story. What i am interested in now is preparing for tomorrows market conditions.
