Metastock Layout - Next security opens chart from the whole database

Hi,
I'm new to Metastock and I'm trying to sort out an issue I'm having with scanning through layouts. I create a layout then use the next/previous security button to look at other charts in the layout and it opens the next/previous chart from the whole database, not from the list of securities in the layout.

I'm also having the same issue trying to scan through Explorer results. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

What I do is save those I want to favorites with layout attached.
Open up the folder and highlight all those I wish to look at and load all the charts. I flick through by closing those with no interest and shrinking those I wish to look at further.

For exploration results.
I just open results Highlight all results and hit the open Charts radio button--I then do the same.

use <ctrl> <tab> to scroll through the layout list .... hold <ctrl> button down and pressing <tab> brings up next chart
