I actually backed Red Cadeaux on the day, win and place, as I couldnt decide the night before between Illo and Red Cadeaux. Glad I did : )

Thanks Julia, yes it would have been good, would have made more than double than what I did.

I was just glad that I backed it in the end as it bugged me through the night that I hadnt as yet - one of those gut feelings.

It was a very fine line between the two.

My friend won the box trifecta, not once but TWICE, I am so thrilled for her.
This year has turned out a good one : )

And whats the Melbourne Cup without the fashion - I was so happy to see so many traditional dresses this year : )
