I would have thought that was obvious. Not wanting to be "fundamentalist" or "exclusivist" or anything like that, but if one believes in Jesus Christ (and God the Father and Holy Spirit) then being a part of THE church is an integral part of that belief. Believing in "God" is competely different to believing in Jesus Christ.
