Just been watching Inside Business and Marius Kloppers, CEO of BHP Billiton is being interviewed AGAIN!

What is your opinion of him? And, how much do you think he earns yearly?

Do you think he's a spin-doctor? Or just a damn good CEO? He just comes across as so smooth if you ask me .

Oh yeah, i think he has a clause in his 'publicity' contract that he is to recieve interviewers' questions first. He always seems to be reading from cue cards. He's so damned smooth, it couldn't be real.

Strikes me as a man on a mission !
Seems determined to stamp his legacy on BHP history and the mining boom in general.
Supposedly highly intellegent and seems pretty ruthless with it just the traits of a man you want in charge of your investment.

I like the guy, has has an adopted yound man of African (black) decent. Yes you need a man like this in a market like this dealing with Albanese - a real show pony. I prefer the Kloppers grounded , intellegent and very sexy. - Gasp, from the male members here......

Yes, i was thinking about this last night. He is very professional and a real asset to BHP.

I'm glad somebody else here thinks he is sexy :p:.

I think he has the personality of a dead fish from what I have seen so far.. however he is running one of the world's largest companies, so must have been chosen for being very good at what he does :)

I must agree.

He is not the brightest star in the sky.

Mr Kloppers was notable for having stuck his neck out about a year ago in saying we should have a price on carbon.
I suspect he is now rather regretting this.

The Chairman of BHP has in recent days come out opposing the carbon tax.

A rather pedestrian fellow really.

He he. He does nothing for me!

Too clever by half, BHP first, everyone else second. Fine if you're an employee or shareholder I guess, and you've got to hand it to him, the recent share buy back was a masterstroke.

Just in case you didn't know:

BHP have deferred the Port Hedland inner harbor project that was suppose to start around April. The price of ore is too low. Roy Hill begin shipping EOY.

The rental market ask in Hedland is starting to tank, making camps expensive by comparison.
