I had a 6 pack of Pure Blonde last week. It aint bad, not great though.

I hear it is about 100 calories, or is that kilojoules a bottle? Whereas a can of VB is 150. It feels a little lighter - you do not get so bloated.

But the bottle is a little smaller (20ml) than a VB can and it is 4.6% not 4.9%. So really the difference is maybe 20% to 30% - not much.

Really, is there any point to these beers? They do not taste quite as good.

It's a bit like those low fat pies which taste like poos. If you want a pie get a pie, if you want to lose weight eat a salad.

Bourbon and Coke Zero, or Vodka and Cranberry are best for people who wanna lose weight and get drunk I think.

Hey realist

I thought they might of called it pure blonde because when you opened up and poured out the head there was nothing inside :D

Is Bondi Blonde low carb? Never tried it and rarely see it. Think it was the one Paris came to Oz for a couple of years back.

Yeah exactly,

What’s the point of drinking beer if you’re not going to enjoy it in its full glory.

Personally for the sake of 50 cal I wouldn’t bother, the pros don’t outweigh the cons.:)

Yes it is!

In fact, my wife bought a free case back from work. Apparently it has floaty bits in it, and they were going to throw it out

Fortunately, the misses aint that silly, she chucked the slab in the back of the car...

The floaty bit are probably yeast, would that be right?

Haven't tried the beer yet, but cheaper than the non floaty version, lol...

I would have to agree, when I want a beer I'd really like a full flavoured one with a decent head and a strong taste to boot, not a weak water like beer like pure blonde.
Leave that to the fitness freaks. :D

I'll drink blonde sometimes, simply because you can drink all night without feeling bloated. If I'm just having a couple, I'll drink a real beer.
