Have the rules changed because of current day market situation? I think not.
Irregardless of what the sharemarket is doing,either soaring or diving, the basics remain the same.
You still have to do your research,both fundamental and technical analysis as before. You still have to minimise those potential losses by using stop losses.
The only thing that has changed is that we now have blue chip companies going for far cheaper than they were six months ago.But you still need to research them.
Just take RIO and OZL who are now having liquidity problems.It goes to show that even big companies are not immune from severe downturns.So there are no guarantees in the stockmarket.
