Leo Lithium Limited was established in 2021 as a spin out of Firefinch's Goulamina Lithium Project in Mali.

Leo Lithium is developing the world-class Goulamina Lithium Project in Mali. Goulamina represents the next lithium project of significant scale  to enter production.

The Goulamina Lithium Project comprises a land holding of 100 square kilometres covering highly prospective hard rock lithium pegmatites in the Bougouni Region of southern Mali, approximately 150 kilometres by road from Mali's capital, Bamako.

The Goulamina Project is being developed in a 50/50 joint venture with Ganfeng, the world’s largest lithium chemical producer by production capacity, providing funding, offtake and operational support to de-risk development. Goulamina is one of the few spodumene projects globally in the execute phase with FID approved by the Boards of Firefinch and Ganfeng, early stage development underway and first production targeted for early 2024.

It is anticipated that LLL will list on the ASX during June 2022.

In the July comp.

LLL is a spinoff bonus issue from FFX and seems to be in a location with significant deposits and potential if all the blurbs are accurate.

Not enough data to supply a chart.

Thoughts on this stock?
Surprised its dropped so much.

Here's why !!

Situated in Mali. Lithium prospect.

Pros :
  • JV with Chinese Ganfeng guarantees market
  • Board seems OK
Cons :
  • Africa risk in particular Mali high on corruption scale.
  • China risk
  • Lithium price may fall
  • Battery essential elements may change

  • gg
Mali is politically disturbed and there is a gold company who is not looking better either
But LLL is probably getting stabilized at current price as 70 cents was never the right price for making an investment call by many (DNH) IMO

Bought a bunch of this stock during the dip (because lithium)
Happened to look at the price today and its shot up. Really need to watch stuff I've bought more.

Is lithium price moving or is it just flavour of the month movements.

Lithium price at all time highs.

Miners also seem to be gaining on the Russia-Ukraine tilt I. E. No oil therefore green energy and renewables will take centre stage.

Then there's also the fact that the rest of the market sucks and buyers are looking for momentum.

Risk is going to be China, who remains the biggest processor of lithium. Many of these contracts are with Chinese processors, so If they're shut down or pivot away from the West then might get a re-pricing.

Leo increased their resource today, now at 142.3mt @ 1.38%, so high tonnage high grade.

They are 1 of my 4 near term lithium producers held.
Currently it is 50/50 with Gangfeng, and will probably reduce to 45% when Mail Government takes a share.

Downside is a long way from port by road.

Grade is king with this one.

From the qty,
Project remains on schedule and on budget.

Good effort in the current environment.

They are targeting DSO by late this year for early cash flow with the plant to follow.

Not without risk but has a marvellous potential upside

I'm not holding this one, but chart looks interesting. Daily Ichimoku has turned positive.
Potential move if support holds.

The exceptional grades are continuing.

China's largest lithium producer Ganfeng will become a 9.9 per cent stakeholder in ASX-listed Leo Lithium as part of a $106.1m deal that also fast-tracks an expanded development of its Goulamina project in Mali, West Africa.

The deal includes a commitment to expand capacity at Goulamina to 1 million tonnes per annum, cooperation on a downstream conversion facility to make lithium hydroxide in Europe or other locations close to West Africa and other beneficial business opportunities. Ganfeng's stake buy-in is linked to a placement offer at 81c per share.

The deal ensures Leo Lithium is fully-funded for its share of Goulamina Stage 1 development and operational ramp-up costs, in addition to being well-positioned to progress its various co-commitments with Ganfeng as part of the cooperation agreement. The placement is subject to regulatory approvals in China.

"This is an exciting chapter for Leo Lithium with a number of near-term deliverables also underway, including our first spodumene product in 2024 and accelerated revenue from Direct Shipped Ore with shipments planned in the fourth quarter of this year," Leo Lithium managing director Simon Hay said.

Forgot I bought a bunch of these. I need to pay attention to stuff I don't buy on ib.
Seems to be going well.
Every time I notice that it's up- it tends to drop the days after though.

Given the electrification of everything. I thought this might be a decent chance of a play.

What's a reasonable target?
