Are you tired of paying out to greedy banks all the tim?.Aussie bank fees are the highest in the world....
Perhaps this is some sort of justice...part of me wants to see them get away with it. Second link is about absurdly high bank fees we all pay



Couple on run after $10m bank bungle

A New Zealand couple is reportedly on the run after $NZ10 million - instead of $10,000 - was mistakenly deposited in their bank account.

The couple, who ran a Rotorua service station, were understood to have applied for a $10,000 overdraft from Westpac but instead had the larger amount mistakenly paid into their account.

Run run.............if they get caught they'll get life in the gas chamber for stealing from a bank whereas if they ONLY molested children they would get off with a bond and compo for their inconvenience or is that only in Australia ?

Aussie bank fees are the highest in the world....

Higher fees than UK yes, but lower margins on loans.

Balance it out and we have extremely competitive banks, and an excellent system.

But then again that viewpoint doesn't sell newspapers, women's day magazines, nor make for popularist commentry by the likes of David Koch or Michael Pascoe.

How about people who moan about banks either borrow their money elsewhere, or refrain from borrowing from the evil greedy banks that give them the opportunity to become filthy rich.

Banks are not benevolent institutions.

In addition to the above, how about they (people who moan about banks) just own the banks? Buy their shares and the associated income stream.
