Good morning and welcome to the July 2016 stock tipping competition entry thread! :)

Pepperstone offers online forex trading through multiple forex trading platforms, including Metatrader 4, Webtrader and Apps for iPhone and Android.

Get started today and get up to $600 free brokerage!

A quick recap of the rules for those not familiar with them:

1. Each entrant may choose one ASX listed stock. Options, warrants and deferred settlement shares are not permitted.

2. Stocks with a price of less than $0.01 are ineligible for the competition, as are stocks that are currently suspended from trading.

3. The winner is the entrant whose selected stock performs the best in percentage terms between July 1 and July 31.

4. The maximum number of entrants in the competition is 100.

The competition winner will receive $100. The second placegetter will win $50 and the third placegetter $25.

You have until midnight on Thursday, June 30 to enter. However, in practice, entries can be submitted until this thread is closed. No entries submitted after that can be accepted for any reason.

Please post your entries in this thread. Remember, once you have selected your stock, you CANNOT change it for any reason.

Best of luck to all entrants! :D

Please don't forget to post a brief reason explaining why you chose your competition entry. One or two sentences is enough (feel free to add a chart if your reason is TA based). If your entry is the same as the previous month and the reason for choosing it is the same then feel free to just post the same explanation again. Thank you!

SKF - Skyfii for me please.

Seems to be winning business, but cash flows aren't there yet. Complete guess that this will turn in the next quarter.

VPC again thanks Joe.

No other reason other than am watching this company. The renon. rights probably impact on the downside near term too.

BGS for me thanks Joe.

A good emerging goldie and expect positive drill results early July, so this with a rise in gold makes a reasonable punt in my view.

G8C thanks... can't get much lower!

AHZ Admedus.

After a false rally from 0.29 back to 0.38 in recent weeks, it's slumped again under 0.30 (0.28 as I write).

Grimly holding the view that its long-term is good, I'll opine this is the month for a sustained turn-around.

They've got a business review in progress - re their cardiac patch business - and sooner or later there'll be an update on their herpes vaccine experiments. I'm not expecting anything definitive to issue forth in July, but who knows? They might throw out a sweetener. Or not.

Thanks Joe!

EDE again thanks. The fact that it had such a hiding in June means it has some catching up to do in July. It still has a lot going for it.:)

Before anyone else picks it, I'll give HGG a go, thanks Joe.
After Brexit, Hendersons have been hammered to smithereens; hopefully, they don't recover too well before Friday. As usual though, the sell-down has gone way below reasonable valuation. I expect the initial panic to blow over quite quickly, both in Europe and here. Even the English will realise that life has to go on, contracts must be honoured, and debts have to be paid.

I'll run another month with ANZ thanks Joe. The local banks have been hammered on the back of the crap going on in the EU (and Britain) combined with the wishful thinking of shorters that the Australian mortgage market (and housing prices) are about to collapse, immenently. The banks are due to issue their year end reports and I suspect that the naysayers are likely to begin covering their shorts. Then again.......

EHL thanks Joe.
EHL has been severely blown away by the shock waves at the end of the mining boom. Is it recovering or will it recover? I don't know. Price has stopped going down and has gone sideways for the past four months.

A very speculative selection for the monthly comp. I won't be buying the BO above 0.04 as this one it too speculative for me.

Just over two days left until entries close in the July 2016 stock tipping competition.

If you haven't entered already, don't forget to do so by midnight on Thursday night. :)

XTD
Same reason as last time - waiting on news regarding O/S deals. Stock has pulled back too, so not much success priced in now

TAS please Joe.

I think Eden Energy has got good legs and therefore TAS with it's large holding will follow. The latest announcement is (IMO) exceptionally encouraging.

I'm feeling a bit cheesed off today as my car was stolen. So I've decided to go for a cheesed off thoroughly fed up stock and that is PDN Paladin Energy. No chance of winning as uranium is still on the floor and likely to stay there. Maybe the share will plummet before the 1st July and bounce back, about the only hope.

PDN Paladin Energy - thanks Joe

PSC : Prospect Resources, thanks Joe.

Another Lithium miner in the making, drilling now. Hopefully some decent results this month.

That was my pick. Bought quite a few.
My other pick is CYB. For similar reasons.

MGE for me joe.
after brexit panic this has a merit.
in addition no one ever posted any blog on mge thread. so let me see what happens with little loved scrip.

CVO thanks Joe
