The propoganda you are espousing in regards to taxing miners 90% and reducing the pay for the workers is very similar to some Animal Farm quotes.

You might want to tell China it is not run by the Communist Party of China (CPC) while you are at it.

Just as an aside the SCM ..... how much do YOU get paid then? But but but I am university trained with a degree. So my mates who are boilermaker welders and geologists that work on the mines are inferior to your level of income projections and are overpaid for what they do?

It's not about me, it's about knowledge and effort. The salary pyramid should go something like this;

Teachers and Doctors
Scientists and Engineers
And I don't care about other positions enough to rank them.
If lawyers and bankers exist in this fantasy world, they should definitely be on the bottom.

I think you ignore the effect of human nature. It's nice to theorize on what could be, but at the end of the day dictatorship is the only way to get close to adhering to a pure system (not that I would want one). Cuba was as close as you get imo.

There are a lot of people out there who think it is "time".

Supply and demand...

If there is no reward for effort then everyone takes the easy path and we end up with a shortage of highly skilled workers. Witness the shortage of doctors right now - that's what happens in a socialised system which under pays and over services.

Price is one means of matching supply and demand and that is what capitalism does. The other means is rationing and that is what socialism does. Note the huge shortages of doctors, child care and just about every other socialised service in this country versus the plentiful supply (at a price) of things which operate under a capitalist model.

You don't think it has anything to do with how hard one has to study and work to become a doctor (Western students are getting pretty damn lazy)?

Russia has the highest doctors per population, and they do not get paid much, plus they have public healthcare more so than here. So how is your claim still true?
