Ive said it before and ill say it again...the best thing the Liberals could do is Dump 1 vote Tony for Turnbull and thus capture the centre,
the right of the party has no where else to turn and would mostly stay loyal or have there 2 party preferred votes flow to the Liberals anyway....Turnbull would win in a landslide.
This is pure delusion, cloud cookoo stuff :homer: Labor and the greens will preference each other because there's simply no where else to go...the rise of the greens comes on the back of a decade of Howard nothingness, a decade of total isolation and green ignorance.
This is the green backlash Australia had to have.

There is nothing wrong with any TAX, problem is we are not on this planet alone.
.
Totally agree.i disagree, there is PLENTY wrong with any tax, tax takes money from the productive private sector and sinks it in the miss-managed, beaurocrat heavy public sector. this ron paul quote sums it up perfectly:
"We need to understand the more government spends, the more freedom is lost... Instead of simply debating spending levels, we ought to be debating whether the departments, agencies, and programs funded by the budget should exist at all."
”” Ron Paul
yes i do acknowledge that taxation is a nescessary evil but it should be limited to just provide the basics of govt (healthcare, infrastructure, police, military etc) and not simply be an economy-crippling wealth redistribution mechanism
All hail Ms. Gillard - best prime minister in a long time. Takes money from the rich, gives it to the poor and doesn't afraid of anything!
People are tired of Abbott's FUD. It is inevitable that ALP/Greens coalition of awesome will take the next election and usher in a new era of prosperity, with Ms. Gillard at the helm.

What an awesome way to run the country.
This is obviously the most successful way to run the country. The reason is; it takes the money from people who screw over other people, and gives it back to the screwed over people - ensuring some semblance of fairness.
you know, I think you now qualify as the labor finance ministermove over swannie

And that, ladies and gentlemen, journalists and college professors, is
how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the
most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for
being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they
might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.
Age old fallacy. People are quite free to move to other countries, and let them - nay, encourage them. I have no desire for greedy people.
The positions who's salary is taxed always stay in one place. If someone leaves, another person will take their place and still pay the tax on the salary they get from the same position.
End result: Less greedy people, better society.
Yeah so who is going to open all the business under your tax regime to employ those poor suckers to pay all that tax? Or do we all just sit around pulling cones.
What is my tax regime? I haven't proposed any differences from our current one (yet).
As to your question, we don't really need new business. In fact in reality we probably need our businesses to decline, to match our declining population (after we ban immigration and kick all undesirable immigrants out).

LOL ....... you are not understanding the analogy there young gun are you? The rich people (miners) pay a lot of tax and keep the people employed who in turn pay taxesIt is about the velocity of money that you struggle with isn't it?
Your nay desire to have these kind of people around you in your "Animal Farm" Utopia will not serve you well in the long run. Lenin and Trotsky have tried this to no avail. China is now a semi quasi free trade capitalist society (just go to ebay and see how much stuff is from China) and Cuba does not even rate a mention. Go and have a look at North Korea and see how many allies they have and how well the general population is doing.
P.S. Perhaps it would be better if you went there personally, nay I encourage you to move to another country and see what the "real" world is all about before you espouse your Fabius maximus rhetoric like a misguided servile factotum of the Green movement that you have so far displayed your colours thus far.
and they certainly don't have anything to do with communism, nor even socialism.
