I speak from experience, and if there is, my advice to you is head for the hills.

If there's one in your family may God help you.

Sociopaths are devoid of normal feelings and emotions and they will
go to any lengths to use you, and and extract money from you.

I told some of them make excellent CEO's.

Sounds like Rudd.

sounds like your average trader actually

long live sociopaths

next door neighbours, they use everybody. They start with hello, then offer some help/push you to use them. Then, they get you !!! Ask you to do things etc etc ...

To the point, I do not want to talk to them hehehe. Knowing being ignored, they still keep saying morning/good weather isn't it ? etc etc ... how low can these people go ... they are the loudest ? use the space more than anybody ? and they think they are the king/queen of the street

Sounds familiar ???

The best way, treat them as if they do not exist in your life

God bless ...

Sounds like there is an interesting story behind this post Bowman, please elaborate.

Not sure that I want to elaborate on the fine details, but I became a victim of a close friend's mother, who milked me in many ways for years, before I finally managed to remove her from my life.

She was the most accomplished liar I have ever encountered and a very charming person to boot.

As I later discovered, the charm, as well as many other aspects of this person
were totally manufactured.

Sociopaths seem to solely exist in order to feather their own nests and control people for their own benefit.

Scary stuff, and sociopaths really need to be avoided and excluded from your life at all costs.

There is no cure or treatment for sociopathy.

a sordid love affair ???

tell me more !

In fact she was quite attractive and always well groomed and well dressed.

LOL nun

Ya not getting any cheap thrills here for free.

Seriously though, having a sociopath in your life can be one of the most devestating experiences you will ever have.

Yeah but she is a woman , so that's normal behaviour............sort of.
Some women are just crazy, and it's not just a few.

No Johnny, I like really ugly girls who wear polyester and rarely wash. :

LOL, from the sounds of it bow you may of perhaps carried a flame for this older attractive mother, which she recognised and used for her own benefit.

I work in retail and just yesterday a stunning mature (say late 30's early 40's) lady came into the shop and I found myself having a hard time stringing a sentence together. It actually quite suprised me as I didnt think a woman (perhaps because she was more mature then myself) could have that effect. The way she was dressed, walked, talked. Wow.....very powerful. They're dangerous. :

That's natural, "sociopaths" just take it to a further extent than most. It's also not black and white, and we all have these qualities at some level. Sociopaths do not necessarily seek to cause damage at all.

I think that's true. Because they are bereft of normal emotional responses they don't recognise the damage and hurt they inflict.

I have no desire to control anyone and I look out for myself without harming others.

I agree there are degrees of sociopathy. I don't really think this woman was seeking to deliberately cause me pain, but she was ruthless in her attempts to extract whatever she could from me.

That's what is so scary. It's easy to excuse the behaviour for a long time, before reality hits home.

I can't help but find myself agreeing with you here burnsy

(and I guess a lot of women probably think the same thing about men).
