one commentator i listen to ( who has family in diplomatic circles ) thinks it is bunkum ( or worse deliberate propaganda ) however time will tell , China might take such an actual opportunity for a purge ( Xi has already had some minor examples of them .. having been on the receiving end twice in his early years ) ( given Xi's family background , one might wonder whether the military would back Xi )
