Ilala Metals Limited is focused on the exploration of battery and energy metals; copper, uranium and lithium and, subject to completion of its IPO, will hold a large portfolio of projects for these commodities.
The Company has chosen to focus on the following proven geological settings in southern Africa:
- the Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) in Botswana;
- the lower sandstones of the Karoo in Botswana; and
- the pegmatites of Namibia.
These settings contain world-class deposits. Subject to completion of its IPO, Ilala will hold an interest in:
100% of the following copper projects in Botswana, Africa:
(i) Central Copper Project;
(ii) Ngami NE Project;
(iii) Maun Project;
(iv) Kule Project; and
(v) Xanagas Project; and
(b) 100% of the following uranium projects in Botswana, Africa:
(i) Serule Uranium Project;
(ii) Mea Project;
(iii) Foley Uranium Project; and
(iv) Ngamiland Uranium Project; and
(c) 90% of the Orange River Lithium Project in Namibia, Africa, which is currently under application.
The Company will not hold an interest in any of the above Projects until it receives conditional approval from ASX of its Admission to the Official List.
It is anticipated that IL1 will list on the ASX during September 2024.
