I post this only in protest at the mangling of English by recent posters. The English language has many nuances if used PROPERLY.

There are many poorly composed posts appearing on ASF by people, possibly migrating from Hotcopper and other forums to ASF.

These comparatively uneducated and partially literate remnants of stock forums in decline, such as Hotcopper, should be sent packing, back to where they belong.

Which takes me to the name of this thread , named in honour of

If all business cows in China are holy?

which for gawds sake, has had forty five replies to its meaningless title.

And I thought I was the only one who 'didn't get it'. Still have absolutely no idea what the thread starter was trying to say, ask, or suggest.

I love weird titles. My favourite is "Did a big mistake - bring me your lights please", by Benhua last October. I was immediately attracted. His problem was that he was up for a huge payout as a result of buying Briscon shares. We were able to give him the right advice and he got out relatively unscathed. He was French.

lol, I don't think anyone has any idea.

It is funny how it makes absolutely no sense yet people are able to ramble on and add 50 odd posts

I have seen titles that make sense get inane responses. I find Miner's thread most interesting and provocative. I am one of those whom you think ramble on. Obviously English is not Miner's native language but that doesn't mean we should ignore him.
