How close is online persona to real self?

  • I wonder who in this forum is depicting themselves accurately .Some posters are here to entertain and therefore may enjoy deviating from their usual persona (GG ) whereas others simply want to share information so may present themselves as they are.
For example TH could be a bucket shop employee trying to increase business, Julia could actually be a 200 pound Black Man etc etc , not trying to extract confessions just enjoying the thought and attempting some humour.Feel free to hypothesize on the possibilities.

Smithers is a slacker and wouldn't dare impersonate me, I gave him a 5% pay cut for trying to kill me last week so he knows he's not popular at the moment.

And younger and fitter than my online persona.

You make one mistake and it stays with you forever.

If only these fine people would leave me alone.

I chose red roses and the name grace because I thought that amongst a mainly male dominated forum (it seems), you might all be nice to me.

So far, so good.

I am pretty much the same as I type - whatever that means???
 
And here is the "Pearl Necklace" hard at work on my pearl farm. That is me in the bright orange overalls and the big hat blasting shell. The other photo is of the "Pearl Necklace" being placed into the water after a major refit. I am good for eveything I claim in here.

I'm a bit amused at the notion of myself as a big black man!
Nothing could be further from the truth - am quite small, fair skinned and blonde.

I haven't either the inclincation or imagination to attempt to be anything other than I am. Also, I'm a hopeless liar and would get very confused if I were anything other than straightforward.

I'm frankly puzzled by people who, especially via PM's or emails, for their own peculiar reasons make statements or promises which turn out to be completely without basis. Silly game playing which is pretty pathetic imo.
