Have Al Qaeda in Pakistan gone too far?

I think time for ugly conspiracy theories hmmm.

Interestingly 2020 your first post is refuted by many and is just hog wash to create more smoke.

I think honest, unbiased and well researched journalism has been abandoned in the face of creating more sensationalized news...

When a convicted crook is the president of a country what else can you expect? more deception. It is disgrace brought to Pakistan with the help of good old USA.

"believe half of what you read and quarter what you see", you reckon?
nothing (or very little) would surprise me.

STILL, I don't hear the AQ denying that they were behind it. (Marriott)
And their affiliate in India claimed responsibility recently for that one.

And no question their raids (Taliban/AQ) into Afghanistan are ramping up in a seriously unsettling fashion.

The converse argument (as you say) Pakistan PM claiming that killing of civilians has "gone too far". Maybe the US are losing hearts and minds faster than AQ?

PS I remember a report recently - the locals claiming that 200 were killed (by an unmanned plane attack). - and the US claiming that they had investigated , and only 7 civilians were killed. And I thought to myself - so some young army officer has had to go knock on doors, and ask "excuse me, how many were killed from this household?".
As if he'd stick around for one second longer than absolutely necessary.

In these times of propaganda, finding truth is really difficult but not impossible. A little research goes a long way. Yes believe very little.

The attack is not claimed by AQ as of yet, it is claimed by a little known group, "Islamic commandos". But for the purpose of this discussion we can claim as decentralized AQ. Well posting a message after the attack is not the way to go IMHO. Some kind of rigorous investigation into the claim is always lacking. And once a video appears claiming the responsibility, all the investigation fades away into the sands of time...

adding fuel to the fire...
