Not asking you to give what you cant afford....but please consider a donation...it really does make a difference... these emergency relief operations must stay inside budget and every bit helps....

Please if you can afford it consider a donation to World Vision via there Australian web site..... they need it and they need it now for the people of Hati.....

www.worldvision.com.au please ensure you have the legitimate world vision site and use internet safety techniques... if you google worldvision hati it will take you straight to the correct page...

I have kicked it off with a sizeable donation...... wouldnt it be great if ASF members could make a difference .... please just donate whatever you feel is good and within your budget... even $2 will help.... perhaps go withou a cappacino today....

Or perhaps pull off one small trade, take profit as soon as its there and donate the proceeds to Hati Appeal.... whatever, be creative, be generous...kama and the goodness in humanity is great...

Perhaps buy a cake on the way to work, sell each piece for $4 and donate the proceeds...

You have to make sure the aid company is 100% legit.

Remember the boxing day tsunamis. We found out a few years later that one of the so called aid companies was corrupt and keeping alot of the money.

And Indonesia, like Haiti, have corrupt governments.

So just make sure you know who you're donating to before you kindly give away your money

Excellent points

Thats why i donate to world vision....they are legit....they go in themselves to avoid corruption as much as possible....they usually put their aid on UN or miltary aircraft and direct deliver to citizens, not institutions...

Wow - i thought investors where a philanthropic bunch by nature.... but it would appear perhaps not...

I agree Condog.. World Vision gives me great joy. I received a small note from my lad in Ghana y`day with a drawing of a soccer ball. That is his dream from a poor village to boot balls for his ambition and he`s only four yo. If i can help him along the way a handful of BHP or RIO is neither here nor there to see those smiles :)
