Hi everyone,
I've recently moved to the city, Pitt Street, Sydney. I need some recomendations for a good, honest, cheap mechanic.
My only recommendation so far is the Glebe electrical auto joint on the corner Bridge Rd Glebe, on corner near light rail and fish markets.

Any suggestions? I fear that the mechanics in sydney CBD will be rip offs, so want to venture into the inner west.

thx

If Five Dock counts as inner city, you could do worse than HondRepair. Guy's name is Peter Ritchie. He's looked after my last 3 cars, including one he looked after from new to age 14 and then bought from me for his son. I thought that showed pretty good confidence in his own work.

Maybe not cheap, but definitely good and honest, and honest means he won't rip you off. Specialised in Hondas at one time, but doesn't object to our current Toyota and even managed to work on a Ford.

Workshop is just off Parramatta Rd so there's reasonable buses to the city, if that helps. Phone 9799 1000.

Good luck.
