A lot of stuff happened during the 1990s. Berlin Wall came down with the collapse of the iron curtain and the USSR. German reunification, massive restructuring of Eastern Europe. First Gulf War. George Sorros broke the Bank of England. Asian financial crisis. War in the former Yugoslav states. Russian ruble crisis.
 
I wonder about the value of pretty looking posters like that with missing info, like
"GDP per Capita", just an easy metric to "compare countries".

Take Guyana, population of approximately 800k.
Big growth per Capita yes, but really?

India #11 rank (6.3%), down to Vietnam #20 rank (5.8%) is where the population and growth is.
It's the new "China" in disguise.
