Best book I have read on Rome (well a short but interesting period of its history) is Caesars Legion. 100% fact, taken from Plutarch, Josephus, Caesar himself etc to compile a story of the famous 10th legion and the Roman empire over the period. Covers most of its expansion, from the first ventures to Portugal, Gaul, Brittain, all the way down to Titus and Vespasian in Israel and over to Tunisia, Egypt etc if my memory serves me correct.
Definately recommend for all those who love the Roman empire and fact. This is why I didnt get into Colleens books as much.
You work and play games? WTF do you do for work? Damn good job that is!
