Hello ASF Members

I'm fairly young and have never been to a General Meeting for Shareholders.

I'm curious to know what the general dress attire is.
e.g. Neat casual, semi-formal, etc

Another question which isn't so important is, how long do the meetings generally go for?

Cheers
Dave

Can someone please inform me of the general dress attire at an General Meeting.

I need to know by monday.

Thanks
Dave

The simple answer Dave is there is no dress code.

However, I can guarantee you the board will be in suits as well as the consultants to the Company. However, if you are simply an investor, neat casual should suffice.

It depends on how well the company has been performimg or what their ethic is.

Where the directors pay themselves exhorbitant fees such as Macquarie, then a suitably servile attire such as a medieval peasant's smock and monastic sandals would be essential.

For Fosters a VB shirt and stubby shorts is de rigeur.

Should you attend a Rams Home Loans meeting just a garbag would be sufficient.
