Did anyone ever read about Gary McKinnon?

Gary, hacked into US Govs computer system, spent years researching what he believed was a US gov cover-up of "free energy technology", ie., anti-gravity. He was caught and the US wants him jailed.

Bright guy i think, . . . . just not bright enough to avoid capture.

here's the story:

PS
I've often pondered that with the enormous wealth that comes to a select few in control of oil, plus the enormous disruption free energy would have to global economies/profits, there probably isnt much incentive to make free energy available even if the technology has been developed; at least not whilst there is still profit to be made from oil supplies.

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

I honestly feel sorry for this guy. Spending a great deal of ones precious time on something that isnt true.

"Big bad oil companies" & "Corrupt US officials" do not have any control over scientists.

If there was free energy (which is quite plainly impossible), the whole scientist community would be making is because it is in direct violation with the fundemental laws of physics.

The person who discovered free energy would go down in history bigger then Newton and Albert and every other great put together. Which is worth a lot more then any amount of money "Big bad oil companies" and "Corrupt US officials" could possibly provide to keep it a secret.

I never ever thought I would say this but, I am starting to hate the internet
The amount of misinformed people trying to feed me conspiracy theory crap about the US government, oil companies and anyone who has actually achieved something, is turning me insane.
I propose, when I make my money, to have free physics/ life lessons for all!

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

naked,

i'm not subscribing to the conspiracy theory, that's simply the story, the context in which this guy found himself.

what is most interesting in all of this is the concept of free energy; and the side issue that it would be very disruptive to global economies.

***************
by the way, how much do you know about Einstein's Unified Field Theory Naked?? quick - google it!!

open your mind naked, otherwise the world stays flat and we remain descendants of Adam and Eve.

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

whether or not all these crazy theories about UFOs, HAARP, plastic coffins, teslas free energy, 9/11 etc. are true, the important point is that we are unable to trust our leadership. has there ever been a time when humans could?

information is power, from government to the market to the individual, and those who control the information determine the reality. luckily access to information is now instant, ubiquitous and free, and as individuals we are free to access all available information and reach informed opinions.

as are all aware of the personal corruption wealth and power bring about, it is important to have the nutters stirring things up and making us exercise our bullsh1t filters. i've watched 9/11 conspiracy films and read all sorts of stuff about secret projects and corruption and illuminati, and while most of it appears to be the ranting of paranoid madmen, there are often grains of truth to be found. at a stretch

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

Actually we all have access to ‘free’ energy.
Be it solar, wind, water (gravity), and no conspiracy here.
Problem is, it will disappear in 5.5 billion years with our Sun turning to dwarf star cooking us in a process, but this is not going to worry us for a while.

Problem is that over the years we were conditioned to use State supplied power, as it was so cheap and convenient.

With price of petrol hitting, I think it was $5, alternative power will all of the sudden become cheap enough to be re-discovered.

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

There would never be "Free energy", Even if there was alternatives some one would still want a return on the R+D they put into it, People would still own the infrastructure and want a return on capital invested, the government still requires a certain amount of tax dollars so would have to work out a way to tax it.

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

Of course, the "misinformed" have so much less knowledge than the ignorant. There is a lot of crap on the internet, but not all of it. We cannot know for sure if there really is free energy out there, but we can be sure that they would not want us to know about it if there were.

To think that those who are capable of bringing down Americas twin towers and blaming it on islamic extremists, to justify going to war and slaughtering hundreds of thousands of muslims, cannot control a bunch of scientists is a joke, especially when they dominate the media and the only scientists you really hear are the ones who will participate in their agenda.

There are many people who are believed to have possesed free energy technology in the past, not the least of them being Nicola Tesla, whom is believed to have taken part in many secret government funded projects in his time. But if the feds told you not to talk, would you? how much would you risk?

If it does exist, they have too much to lose by letting it out. Yes the entire tax system would have to be restructured, since 45% of the pump price of petrol goes to the government. Maybe they can tax it the same way they're planning on doing to water we collect in rainwater tanks.

respect to you disarray - once you've done the research, then you are entitled to an opinion.

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

Totally agreed with all that but I don't buy the "free energy" notion simply because we've already invented and built far too many things that defy the science behind that idea in order to operate.

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

James, I never ever mentioned that you were of the same opinion. I made sure of that when I wrote my inital post.

But please, dont treat me like an idiot, perhaps you are doing it because you feel connected with the fool in the interview and you took offence to my critisism of him?

Dont worry, its ok, I feel sorry for you to!

Re: Gary McKinnon - Hacking for Free Energy.

Great opinion!
And I still stand by my point.. why dont you read it this time?
