With the ever increasing price of fuel it is hard to find the best value or whether one gets value or overcharged. Yesterday I paid 186.9c for diesel and today 162.7 for "green" unleaded. That seems to me to be the biggest difference I have seen between diesel fuel and unleaded petrol. I regularly travel to Queensland and note the better prices there even though the northern parts of NSW are supposed to get a deal to match the cheaper Queensland fuel.
What do most ASFers pay?

Green unleaded today 158c. Remember, Nioka, that we have a State government subsidy here so there's not that much of a difference.

Current prices at the service station just down the road from me (in suburban Hobart):

91 octane petrol (regular unleaded) 159.9, Premium 166.9, 98 octane petrol 186.9, Diesel 194.9, Autogas 87.9

Prices vary. I've seen regular unleaded up to 173.9 around town today. 159.9 would be absolute bottom of the range at the moment.

I'm suprised by the difference b/w octane ratings: here (Brisbane) it's 2-3c less for EtOH; 6c more for Premium and 10-12c more for 98 octane.

Just to let you know what I'm currently paying for petrol in the middle east... $AUS 28 cents/litre. :D
