Same in my family. I get sick and tired of feminists saying how terrible life was for women in previous times, guess what, it was crap for men too, bet it wasn't much fun going down a mine for your entire life starting from age 10! From what I know of my grandmothers' lives and stories from even further back the women in my family had enjoyable and fulfilling lives same as the men, albeit with plenty of hardships thrown in.I called myself a feminist once upon a time but do not identify anymore with what feminism is these days. Yes, some men are horrible, smart women know to give these ones a wide berth and seek out the good ones.
