Fake CCTV London Bombing Pic ??

Was a "Bomber" Superimposed onto Metropolitan Police Surveillance Camera Photo?

Below is a CCTV image circulated by the Metropolitan Police.

As Peter Kofod wrote,"Take a look at this photo of the four alleged London bombers."

"At first, (almost) everything looks fine, but look closer... look at the guy with the white hat... check out his left arm (HIS left arm).... the lower of the rails of the railing is IN FRONT of his left arm... where of course it shouldn't be! I'm NO image specialist, but this sure looks ridiculous. I'd say it ´s a fake."

The CLG has also inspected this image. "The white-hatted man was apparently superimposed onto the photo. Not only is his arm 'behind' a railing that is supposedly several feet behind HIM, but also, upon magnification in Photoshop, part of the bar actually goes into his head. This was 'touched-up,' but pixels of his head mix unmistakably with pixels from the railing." --Michael Rectenwald.

Had a quick look

So what they did was superimpose the guy into the picture, but somehow in the act of superimposing, his left arm went behind the railing...... are you serious! When you superimpose a picture everything goes infront of the background.... so maybe they superimposed him in, then superimposed the railing infront of his left arm - just for fun!!!!!!!!!!

And then people bother writing in deep analysis on the pixles and how they're modified - yet don't seem to address a basic flaw in their argument

Who comes up with this crap!!

The guys arm is bent at the elbow to have his forearm infront of him.
The bar through the head is inconclusive it could simply be a matter of light and angles.Doesnt look that clear cut to me.

But then people will see what they want to believe.

Jezzz dont those terrorists get a Raw Deal----poor bastards.

I had a look, zoomed in, inverted the colors, tried greyscale et al

did any of these loonies consider that maybe the guys arm was up holding the backpack on his shoulder?

the 'rail through the head' is inconclusive as when zoomed in all you see is a few white pixels (the guy in front has some the same)

the photo is legit

This R.......1 was removed from couple of forums, and sooner he-she gets the flick here the better.

Easier to get such effects from an ageing CCTV camera, methinks.
