hi all

i just found out that my BOQ trade i purchased on 4 Jan 2012 was executed at 7.46. however on three different charts including the commsec one the high for the day was $7.27, so how could I have purchased the shares are $7.46 plus they charged me $80 for brokerage which is a separate cost?

The high for BOQ on 4 Jan was $7.50. The charts you see have been adjusted because BOQ did a cap raising since then in March. The adjustment factor (according to WebIress) was 0.97.

Someone like Google Finance doesn't change the chart on adjustment events and you can see the data there.

As to $80 brokerage... no idea without knowing how you placed the order and your position size.

ok i got my answer

they informed me due to the capital raising the shares got diluted and that is why there is a reduction in the share price which is showing up on the charts.
