Refresh Group Limited (RGP) is a producer and distributor of bottled water, water filters and purifiers to home-and-office sector with factories in Western Australia (Perth and Kalgoorlie), New South Wales (Sydney), Victoria (Melbourne) and Queensland (Brisbane and Toowoomba). RGP has a capacity to produce more than 10,000 litres of distilled water per hour.

Refresh Group firing up today on news that it will be developing honey water for the Chinese market.

Refresh Group to Develop Honey Water for Chinese Market Co-operation Agreement Signed With Meluka Health for Product Development

Refresh Group Ltd (Refresh) announced on 28 December 2016 that it has taken up a $300,000 placement of shares in Eve Investments Ltd (Eve) at 0.8 cent per share. Refresh is pleased to provide an update that it has entered into a Joint Development and Co-operation Agreement with Meluka Health, one of Eve's companies.

Agreement to develop a medicinal honey water

The agreement involves the development of a honey water product range for Australia as well as the Chinese market. Refresh is Australia's largest producer of distilled drinking water with 6 bottled water factories in 4 States.

Refresh will cooperate with Meluka Health to develop a honey water product range utilising organic Meluka honey produced by Meluka Health. Combining the two uniquely Australian products will create a new product to cater for strong demand from China for natural food based products that have additional health benefits.

I have no idea of the health benefits of honey water or the market in China for such a product. However, the market has reacted positively to the news and RGP is currently up 42.86% at 9c. So clearly there are a lot of people out there who believe that there is a sizeable market for honey water in China. Time will tell.
 
On March 20th, 2019, Refresh Group Limited (RGP) changed its name and ASX code to Eneco Refresh Limited (ERG).
 
I have no knowledge of this company but something which stands out is current market depth.

No buyers at any price. None. Zip. Zero.
