EBTC - ETFS 21SHARES BITCOIN ETF

EBTC, the ETFS 21SHARES BITCOIN ETF, tracks the performance of the price of Bitcoin in Australian dollars before fees and expenses. It provides holders with an interest in Bitcoin held in cold storage by Coinbase, the world's largest custodian of cryptocurrencies. It gives investors a way to trade bitcoin in a tightly regulated environment without needing to establish and maintain their own bitcoin wallets and the risks associated with that.

Bitcoin allows people to transfer digital money between each other without needing a financial middleman like a bank. It can be thought of as a digital or "crypto" currency that has no government behind it. While there are many other such online currencies these days, Bitcoin was the first and as of December 2021 remains the largest.

One of my picks for the 2024 comp. With many ETFs being established for bitcoin and other digital currencies, the demand will force the price to rise over the year.

Good morning @Iggy_Pop

I tried looking for this in my Incredible Chart program with no luck and tried looking up Market Index for price and Value Traded in the previous 5 days with no go there either. Can you enlighten me please.

On BigCharts I can see ( EBTC ) is listed on the Nasdaq Exchange

Edit: Can't bring it up on the ASX website either.

ETFs come and go. If they don't get to critical mass, say $100mill, market makers lose interest as turnover is low, and the issuer winds them up. Without digging deeper, seeing it was in AUD , I'd suggest it was ASX listed, back in 2022

a good tip for 2023

Thanks for your help with this. I have tried to follow on from @Joe Blow rules in most things as I didn't want to see the Comp end.
The first rule -
Each entrant must select four ASX listed stocks.

So to be fair to all, is it a ASX listed Stock ?
