i renewed my bike insurance recently and these guys came out trumps.

up to 4k riding gear covered

plus 24 roadside assistance

all included.

and they still came out cheaper than the closest competior

I'm only giving credit where credit is due - they provided the best price and service.

I can't vouch for their car stuff but if you have a motorbike click on the link and get a quote.

i was reading somewhere that motorcyclists are referred to as "donors" at the casualty departments..:D

but the insurance sounds good..

safe motoring!!

I've been with eCarInsurance for over a year now. A lot cheaper than many other places (for me anyway).

My mate has eBikeInsurance, and has made use of the roadside assistance (they ended up towing his bike), and it is a lot cheaper for him than any other insurer.

Not sure what they are like with claims, haven't needed them yet. Excess is cheap ($650 for me, which is good 'cos under 25 years old -- was even better when was on P plates, most other insurers are about $1200+ when on P's).

Will I be covered when my wife kills me if I ever get back on a motorbike?

G'day Sam. Insurance on bikes seems very bizarre. I was with suncorp when I had my 2006 SV. About $370 fully comp A1 rating and never claimed. I sold the SV and the insurance for my 08 GSXR was over $1000 with Suncorp.
I started looking for a better price and Tried E Bike due to them being a sponsor here.

EBike was more than Suncorp, Swann was about $1500, Shannons was about $500 and Insure My Ride came in at $400.

A good friend wrote off her Ducati ST4 and was well looked after by Insure My Ride so I went with them. The funny thing is, Insure My ride wanted more than the GSXR to insure my SV. Makes no sense to this layman.

Anyways, glad you got a good deal.

Cheers,
