Would it be an accurate statement to say that the proportion of those trading mechanical systems (as a proportion of all the market participants) is far greater in the futures market than it is in the stockmarket?Maybe this is why mechanical systems such as the Donchian channel breakouts have lost their touch in the futures market (because of more people using the same or similar system) but still a goer in the stockmarket?
