Does anyone know the name for chart patterns that are horizontal, vertical horizontal They typically bounce in between zones such as .002 .0025 & .003 and are less jagged and more structured? 1658280913439.png

welcome to ASF ,

i am no chartist ( or even a real student of it )

but i call that a 'channel ' ( although channels can also trend up or down as well )

cheers

It is not really a pattern of any significance to a chartist.
(This particular one you've chosen)
It is a line chart of price movements in this case.005c.

Just a line chart representation joining .0025 and .003 as
price trades between each.
Every now and then it gets 2 .005 movements so the line
goes higher or lower to reflect the move diagrammatically.

Strictly you could call it a range between points.
In trading Ranges, you typically place buys at lows and sells
above when the price reaches it its sold, and if it trades to the
low of the range ---rinse and repeat.

there is no "pattern" .... because of the timeframe (infrequent trades spread out over months), all that is happening is, and depending on the Market Depth on both sides, for a BUY, entry is at $0.003 and for a SELL, exit is at $0.002. Then the ones going through at $0.0025 are matched (I forget how this mechanism works or what they are called).

It is essentially a straight line. The main description would be "sleepy".

Centre Point trades ASX.
Not for the inexperienced, imo, and dang expensive for us pleb retail if trying to place centre point orders.
Its nice jagging them accidentally though on occasion (slightly cheaper buy in price or slightly larger sell price)
