Domus will be an externally managed Australian real estate investment trust. Domus will own a controlling interest in a US real estate investment company intended to be classified as a "real estate investment trust" for US federal income tax purposes called Domus, Inc (US REIT). The US Asset Manager will manage the US REIT.

Domus is restricted to investments in the US REIT and appropriate financial products. The US REIT will invest in US multifamily real estate initially in the Southern and Western regions of the United States and appropriate financial products that are treated as qualifying assets for the purposes of the REIT qualification tests under the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended.

Until the US REIT or its subsidiaries acquire multifamily assets in addition to the Initial Portfolio, uncommitted funds will be invested in appropriate financial products in Australia and in the US, including cash.
