firstly Corporate free speech is protected, secondly do you know how many corporations out there in the USA make political donations and are heavily involved in politics for terrible reasons, I don't think signing a petition against something that affect so many of their employees and customers is a problem.

I think the number of gays has always been the same, people just used to hide it, and go into loveless marriages.

Why does it bother you so much?

I don't think you have a problem with Disney as much as you just have a problem with society changing. just deal with it and live your own life, focus on what makes you happy, and let others focus on what makes them happy.

Not to mention that in Florida, where the issue was happening, Disney was more than a corporation, they were a city/county, called the reedy creek improvement district, so were their own local government. And had been 55 years since they bought land their equal to 2 x the size of New York City.

Ron Desantis used his political power to try and silence Disney, which is unconstitutional but that’s how America rolls these days.

There are over 100 other districts owned by corporations in Florida, but some how the only ones Desantis has a problem with are the ones that disagree with him.

Elon musk is in the process of setting up his own city for his space ex company.

I have a problem with wokeness. Like the dumb Gillette add years ago that tried to insult their customer base and temporarily tanked sales for the company. Nobody wants to see that retarded ****. Its neither funny nor entertaining and all it does is alienate the customer base of the company.

I think Disney theme parks and such would do well. I question the movie side.

Part of the reason why Trump won the election was a backlash against wokeness. I believe the tide is turning on wokeness and we have already passed the peak. At least I hope so anyway.

if Disney does not adapt to the post woke era it will continue to affect their earnings.

People will figure out who they are by them selves, it’s just up to society to give them the freedom to be them selves.

You clearly did not read any of the articles I linked to including the one that described how Disney generated $1 billion of box office losses due to woke movies that flopped. No point discussing anything with you when you continue to be intellectually dishonest.
 
Movies may well die with gen alpha.
I've taken my kids to a couple but a lot they get bored easily. Possibly the experience of going to the movie is often more exciting than the movie.

They tend to watch youtubers and TikTokers. Movies are generally rare.
Disney theme parks and cruises might be a winner though. I noticed the trend towards "experiences" a while back.
 
I asked you to name a few movies that flopped due to wokeness, you named “The Marvels”, I haven’t actually seen, but when I looked it up it’s only “wokeness” seems to be an all female cast, that doesn’t seem woke to me.

To be honest I think it flopped because of other reasons, the whole Marvel franchise has been subdued since Iron Man died ending the first generation story line. I mean 34 movies out of a franchise is a lot to ask.

I haven’t even heard of it, and I am a Marvel fan, and I can’t remember seeing any ads for it either.
